Karens life, love and joy…

Yesterday I did my first Scraplift with a twist and it was so much fun! I have waited to scrap these photos since aug 06, b/c I couldn´t seem to find the perfect way to compliment the balls in the photo..but when I saw Dani Mogstad´s fab LO I knew it would be perfect for it!
So here is my lift:

I used Holly McCaig´s Goodbye to Summer (love that kit!) and a whole bunch of Gina goodies. Full credits here!

Speaking of miss Holly, I just went and bought her new kit Simplicity at MDM – it is sooo beautiful and it gives me the urge to scrap NOW!

Oh and a big news: I am on the fabulous Miss Jen Caputo´s CT!! I looooove her templates and I am so excited to be a part of her team!
Jen just released a double LO template collection at thedigishoppe.com. Here is one I made from it, I love how it came out!

And now onto some music! I am crazy about this danish singer, Pernille Vallentin, she has such a wonderful voice and she looks like a fairy!

Okay I am SUPER excited right now! I just got my Shutterfly photobook from the mail man and I _almost_ hugged him when he delivered it!

I LOVE it!! It is 12x 12 format and I am so glad I chose to go with that size! It is soo worth any penny (161 dollars + shipping ACK!), the colors are perfect, it looks like exactly as it did on screen – and that is super important to me (my calender 2007 didn´t turn out that great..had it printed in Denmark..). The pages are of such great quality and there has been no cropping at all – everything looks like it did in the preview. And what I love the most is the front cover and back – it makes it 100 x more special to have my own photos on it instead of some not custom.

Here are some photos of it – but they don´t do it justice at all!

I can´t wait for Jacob to come home from work and see it!!

Okay I just played around in PS (b/c I am bored, cause no one in the US is awake yet!) and I made this make over for myself I went a little overboard with the skin blurring, so I am only going to show you the eyes hehe. I think I will have to go get some colored contact lenses – I look fun with brown-green eyes !

Yesterday I went to Dreampapers (my LSS) to deliver one of my CT layouts (paper) to them – and I got some new papers. And can you imagine? It was JEN WILSON papers?! I was so thrilled that Kit (the owner) thought that I didn´t like them..LOL!

Yesterday I scrapped for the SBG challenge “6 degrees of inspiration”. We are going to keep the layouts secret until the whole group has made a LO – it will be so much fun to see how the inspiration has been pasted on.
But I can´t show you the LO..bummer, since I really loved how it turned out
