I forgot to tell you that I made a desktop for ShabbyPrincess this month I really like it myself, I hope you do too!

Oh and for you non-digital scrappers – you can easily use this too on your computer desktop! You simply download the desktop, open the file in a photoediting program, put in your photos behind the original layer (the one with the desktop design) and just move your photos around until they fit. Then you just save as jpg.

Then go to your desktop, rightclick, select properties, desktop and then select the destination where you saved the file..and there you have it – a desktop with your own photos!

LOL well I don´t! Why is it that your voice always sounds sooow weird on recordings?

Okay, yesterday Jennifer (Jennilyn) asked me in a comment how I pronounced my son´s name..It is spelled Asbjørn, but I usually spell it Asbjoern here on the blog, since US computers might not have that letter installed on them.
So I took the challenge and recorded a little message “special announcement” for Jennifer and other inquiring minds Here you go!

Today I went and had my second acupuncture and it wasn´t that bad at all – maybe some of my tension are starting to wear off! I hope so..

I am not a chronological scrapper and I also tend to put off making the “big” events layouts..like birthdays, anniversaries, my hippocratic oath and..holidays! But this time I found the perfect thing for my Paris pages..tatatada: Nancy Comelab and the 2 sister´s collab at Scrapartist!! It is just right for those holiday photos Don´t you think?

Now I am just hoping that I will be able to make at least a couple of more LOs this year with Paris LOL

We went to the opthalmologist yesterday with my ds Asbjoern and good news: his sight is perfect on BOTH eyes. Thats soo great But the doctor told us that he should have surgery when he is about 3-4 years old, because it will start to bother him – both cosmetical and also when trying to look up. But hey..3 years are a long way from now eh?
Here is a new photo of him..he was watching a childrens show and dinner was ready..He SO not wanted to come and eat..can´t you just almost hear him say “mom, I want to eat in front of the tv..pretty please?” LOL!

And this is something new he has started doing when washing his hands – he DRINKS from the water tap! LOL! I think it must be the day care who taught him that..well he looks cute doing it!

Okay, yesterday I got acupuncture – and I am not kidding but I feel SOOOO fantastic today! I don´t know if it works that fast, but my back is painless today..but let me be honest..I haven´t done anything hard with it today either LOL! It was pretty easy to get the neddles plugged in, but when he started turning them..ACK..it was not so nice, lets put it that way

It is about how my son is soo tech savy! He can change a dvd and put it on without scratching it! Come on, 19 months? LOL

Tomorrow we are going to a check up at the paediatric ophthalmologist. My son has a lazy eyelid (his left eye), so they are checking up if his sight is still okay. I think it is, cause when we practice with a bandage on his right eye he does all the things he always does – also changing the dvd without any problem. But lets see what they have to say tomorrow. I don´t want him to get surgery yet – it is only cosmetic and if he get surgery now, the scar won´t grow as he does – > that could turn ugly. But if his sight is threatned there is no other option. But again – I don´t think that will be a problem

Today was a quiet day! My ds and I was at my parents summer cottage yesterday, while my dh helped 2 of his friends moving houses…(he was pretty beat today!).

So we just chilled, watched a bit Tour de France and yes..I scrapped
Here is what I made:

Only one more week before the “real life” begins and I start working! It is kind of surreal..in a week I will be working at a hospital – night shifts and the lot But at the same time I am looking forward to it – I just hope my back can handle it!
Tomorrow I am trying out something new – acupunctur! It is against my ligament pains in the pelvic..it is just 2 times and then I will start a work out program just for the pelvic and back. Yep, I got a new physiotherapist and I have high hopes again He seems really competent – and willing to listen to what I say! That is a thing I will always remember in my work life – to really listen to what the patient says..and not just assume things!

So I will let you know about the acupuncture – I really hope it works!

Over at the-lilypad.com the teams did a photoswap and Kristin (Wyowoman) and I was paired. The twist was that Kristin should choose the colors I scrapped with and vice versa. Kristin picked bluegreyish and I picked green for her to scrap!

I also did this LO the other day – I spended super long time on the shadows, and I think it turned out pretty good! It is actually a scraplift of NikkiARGNwife – a challenge over at thedigishoppe.com

What else is new? Well time flies for me – I thought July was going to be such a looong holiday for me, but every day just flies by!

I am on a scrapping roll! After a few weeks with no new exciting photos to scrap I have finally got som shots I can use! And that´s a great thing considering how many amazing designers I get to work with this month!

Here are a few LOs I did the last couple of days:

First up is a LO made with Shabby Princess and Christina Renee´s fab Collab “French Countryside”! Christina just opened her store and I have to say that I think people at the different boards are being a bit impatient with her and the store! TONS of people are stopping by and a server can only do as much before it reaches it limits! So patience people – we all know that it is worth the wait! Especially this kit! ShabbyPrincess and Christina have outdone themselves!!

A couple of days ago we went to a pet zoo and Asbjoern was super thrilled and couldn´t get enough of petting all the animals! So we are going again today – just for him
I made this LO using Jungle Boogie kit by Kay Miller – it is super fun and fabulous quality as Kay´s product always are!!

Then a little mystery..these 2 LOs are made from a collab kit between 2 of my favorite designers!! Can you guess who? It will be up at the-lilypad.com this saturday!

Did you see Nancy Comelab´s new Just the Basic serie? OMG I thought I died and went to heaven when I saw this background!!

This month is just filled with fun things happening!
Dh and I just got home from Paris – it was a wonderful trip and we had tons of fun and ate TOO many delicious french delicacies mmmh yummy!
Meanwhile our son, Asbjoern, had a blast being spoiled completely by my parents He even learned how to say “morfar” (granddad) – and come on..he doesn´t even say MOM yet! Good grief! But of course my dad is very happy hehe..

In the scrapping world July is one FAB month for me!
I am on no less than 3 guest teams!! And they are all dream CTs to me! The first is Amy Wolff – OMG I have been holding back with this ever since Amy had her call months ago!! She is truly a brilliant designer and such a sweetheart! I know Amy from the Catscrap team..but I still had to bribe her to get on the guest team LOL j/k!

The last guest team spot is a dream come true!! Iis my ALLTIME fav designer – a girl (surprise!!) with such upperly talent that you won´t believe it! Loved by many too

And now that I have gotten to know her I can tell you..she is a lady with TONS of humor LOL!! She is no other than KAY Miller!! Can you believe that? I am dancing about with happiness
