Karens life, love and joy…

This year I gave my mom and dad an empty (sigh) bragbook with a GC for 40 bragbook pages in 4×6. Here is the GC that I put in the bragbook.

Today I discovered a way to make ME excited too! I found 40 bragbook templates for the price of $12! Teresa Ferguson at SSD is retiring from designing and her designs are 50 % off. So of course I bought them on the spot!

Now I don´t have to think at all while making the pages LOL!

On to something else! I had already decided not to resubscribe for Creating Keepsakes Magazine..but yesterday I got the new issue! It is re-designed, the articles are much more relevant, more layouts and..it seems like there are less ads in it!
Even the front page is different – it features the new scrapper of the year. Do you think they looked for a goodlooking scrapbooker so they could put her on the frontpage?

LOL! Just kidding, Elizabeth Kartchner is a very talented scrapper

Kudos to CK for listening to the readers – I think I am about to resubscribe!

After a “long” break from scrapping I scrapped tonight – I was just itching to scrap!

Here are my layouts! First up – a LO about how big my boy is starting to look!

And here is one with one happy little tiger! I used the new collab from LDD – actually the most of it comes from the talented Miriam Lima!

And last but not least is a layout made for the Lift with a twist challenge! The little darling hand belongs to my dear friend Linda´s sweet newborn son

So..no Christmas layouts! But I am sure I will be able to make some..one day..perhaps

Today all three of us woke up really late, since it got a bit late yesterday before we got home
But it was such a great Christmas eve and we had lots of fun – and lots of presents hehe..Asbjoern powernapped an hour and then stayed op all night to open presents, sing Christmas carols and dance around the Christmas tree! Photos tomorrow, I promise

Today I just wanted to show you what I gave dh as an extra gift! It is a hybrid project. I used the collab kit Festive by Ah! Designs, On Designs and Two sister designs, printed it and put it in a QK Silhouette card box. He LOVED it! He had stars in his eyes when looking at it and I think it is his fav gift this year (in all modesty of course LOL)!

Happy friday

I guess everybody who has seen my ds knows that he has ptosis – a lazy eyelid. Well, everyday we “blind” his good eye for a few hours making sure that the other eye won´t become lazy.

So yesterday we were at the opthalmologist and got his sight tested! It turns out that he has perfect sight on BOTH eye He was such a good boy, he didn´t cry at all even after his pupil was dilated with tropicamide..he just didn´t like the bright day light when we were done

Today I made a tumbler insert for my imported Starbuck – make your own tumbler – coffee cup! I got a fellow CT member from US to ship them to me – thank you Brittany! Only to find out that Bodum actually also makes some similar LOL! So if you want to try this out and you live in Denmark – no problem

This is how it turned out – and wow..it is sooo difficult to take proper photos of it! I hope you can imagine how it looks like

I am also currently working on the newsletter for My Scrap corner! It will arrive in the mailboxes soon, so sign up if you haven´t already done it

Wohoo I just go my issue of the new (and improved) DAM – now runned by Nancy Comelab herself!

Yesterday I had to stay overtime at work cause the doctor who was supposed to work the 16h shift, called in sick! Fortunately one of my co-workers agreed to split the shift with me, so he took the night and I took the day and evening shift. But I was super tired when I got home! So I thought I would give myself a little treat..and so I bought THIS amazing kit!! It is a collab between the fab Amy Hutchinson, On Designs and two sister designs..WOW!

It is seriously HUGE – gigantic actually!
My dh is out with his Single Malt Club (LOL) all day today, so I should have some time to scrap today I am soooo using this kit (perhaps for some hybrid?)!

Today I actually did ALL of my Christmas shopping – yeah!! I hate standing in line and just waiting, but today it actually went pretty smooth!
So now I only have to worry about some hybrid gifts and name tags for the presents

Yesterday evening we made some Christmas candy – havregrynskugler! My ds and dh love them, so we made a whole bunch of them!

Asbjoern got a bit tired of putting the coconut on, so he took the pacifier and his ghost..and then – pure happiness

I got my magnets in the mail yesterday! Talk about fast shipping – it only took like a week or so from the US from the day I submitted my order. I got them at Something Blue Studios!
I got 12 of them, 6 of them are for presents I love them – they are SUPERB!

They are 2,5 x 2,5 inches, so tiny and yet I can see every detail in them!

I wanted to show you a couple of photos of my ds..he just found some Fastelavn dresses that we got from my nephew – a tiger and an elephant (that my mother made for him!). He LOVES them and wants to dress up all the time!

And last but not least – a LO using Lauren Reid goodies! It is from our trip to Tivoli, a random collection of photos

And this LO features my df Linda´s newborn son! He is sooo adorable! I used the new Kate Hadfield, Anne Dejong and Corina collab from fpg A snowy Morning.
